The Haiti Nursing Foundation Board of Directors is a working board, with members involved in the life of the FSIL School of Nursing and related medical institutions in Haiti. Many HNF board members also serve on the Governing Board of FSIL, and some travel to FSIL regularly to teach components of the curriculum. Each year at least one board meeting is held in Haiti. This affords members the opportunity to visit FSIL and to stay in touch with Haitian board members as well as with the unique culture of the country.
