First Annual Charity Ball 2008
It was a beautiful night of music, dancing, and entertainment. All proceeds went to Haiti Nursing Foundation in support of the FSIL School of Nursing in Léogâne, Haïti. The ball was attended by over 400 students, faculty, friends, HNF board members and other supporters of FSIL. Most attendees brought donations of school and medical supplies, which filled boxes of these needed items for FSIL students in Haiti.
John Reves and his Riverside Big Band played music ranging from Gershwin to salsa. Guests were also treated to a special performance by the U-M a capella G-Men. A silent auction and raffle turned valuable donated items into additional funds for the FSIL School of Nursing.
