In November 2018, videographer Sydney Kelley, her husband Kyle, and HNF Executive Director Thom Bales traveled to FSIL to spend time talking with nursing students to learn more about their challenges, hopes, and dreams on the path to becoming a nurse in Haiti. This video shares their inspiring stories.

The Faculté des Sciences Infirmières de l'Université Épiscopale d'Haïti (Faculty of Nursing Science of the Episcopal University of Haiti or FSIL) is a Haitian-led nursing school that opened in 2005 and was the first baccalaureate nursing program in Haiti. To date, 18 classes have graduated with 325 BSNs and 37 graduate degree students.  Many of these graduates continue to live and in Haiti.

Supporters who attended our 2017 Fall event shared expressions of gratitude to FSIL students.
